We created the first ever direct to consumer brand for Aegon. For a business that has historically been focussed on the employer and intermediary market this was a complex and challenging journey but one they had to take. We ran brand workshops and proposition development exercises to arrive at a brand wheel and brand essence that everyone felt was compelling before moving on to create a brand name that could be registered and trademarked successfully and all of the brand guidelines that could successfully bring this new brand to life in the online and printed environments. This led to us contributing to the branding guidelines for Aegon and illustrating how the new, consumer brand dovetailed seamlessly with the established parent brand.
